本日は千葉県立土気高等学校のホームページにアクセスいただきまして、誠にありがとうございます。
本校は、昭和５８年に開校以来３０年間、校訓「明るく、正しく、逞しく」を掲げ、千葉県内は勿論、全国各地、様々な分野で活躍する多くの人材を送り出して参りました。
学校の特色づくりとして『国際理解教育の充実』を取り上げ、長年に亘り、地域の団体等のご協力をいただきながら、生徒が確実な知識と広い教養を備えた社会人となるよう職員全員で取り組んでおります。
生徒は、明るく素直で元気があり、各自の目標実現に向けて毎日の勉強や部活動に積極的に取り組んでいます。
これまでにいたる過程には「勉学と部活動の両立」を目指して、生徒と職員が一丸となって実践・推進してきた確かな実績があります。人間教育としての「文武両道」の実践。もちろん、この「武」には、運動系の部活動のみならず、文化・芸術系部活動等も含めます。そして、このことをよく理解してくださっている家庭・地域の人々の支援と協力があればこそです。これも、ひとえに本校卒業生や、保護者の方々、そして地域の皆様方のご理解とご支援の賜と感謝しております。
ところで、学校の周りには、二つの風と一つの色があるといいます。すなわち、校風（学校）、家風（家庭）、地域色（地域）です。本校にとっては、現在、このトライアングルを均等に、さらにより強固なものにすることが大切な課題です。これを、本校経営の基盤としたいと存じます。

Since the opening of this school in 1983, we have set the school slogan as “Brightly, Properly, Strongly,” and have sent many talented people, active in various fields, to not only Chiba, but all over the country.
To characterize our school, we have taken up “the Enrichment of International Education.” With the cooperation of regional organizations, all of the staff have been working with students over a long period of time, so they will become a member of society with sure knowledge and a broad education.
The students are bright, obedient, and energetic, and they are actively studying and participating in club activities everyday to fulfill each of their goals.
Up until now, this process has yielded sure results of students and staff members practicing and pushing forward together towards the “compatibility of studying and club activities.” That is the practice of “Bumburyodo (accomplished in both academic and athletic areas)” for human development. Of course, in this “Bu,” the art clubs are included as well as athletic club activities. And this is also thanks to the help of families and local communities who really understand this idea. We sincerely thank the graduates of this school, the parents, and everybody in the community for your understanding and support.
By the way, they say that there are two winds and one color around a school. In other words, they are the school wind (school customs), family wind (family customs), and regional colors. Presently, an important subject for this school is to equalize this triangle, and furthermore to make it stronger. We would like to make this the foundation for the management of our school.
On this webpage, we have introduced the making of traditions which students, staff, parents, and members of the community are ambitiously working on under a great educational environment, surrounded by green in the heart of Chiba.
